BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -- Striker Iago Aspas scored a double to lead Celta Vigo to a 3-1 win over Valladolid on Sunday, the first home victory for the promoted club in three months.
Aspas opened nine minutes in with a well-placed curling shot to cap a counterattack.
Alberto Bueno leveled for Valladolid two minutes later after Celta goalkeeper Javi Varas fouled Javi Guerra in the area. But Aspas restored Celta's lead for good at the half-hour mark by earning and converting a spot kick, before Alex Lopez secured the three points with a long strike in the 52nd.
Celta's second win in 11 rounds lifted it three points above the relegation zone. Valladolid stayed in 11th place.
Later, it's: Barcelona vs. Espanyol, Mallorca vs. Atletico Madrid, and Real Madrid vs. Real Sociedad.
