Spaghetti supper set

A homemade spaghetti supper is set for Friday, March 14 at the Newcomerstown Masonic Center, 235 N. Bridge St., Newcomerstown, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The all-you-care-to-eat spaghetti supper includes hot garlic bread, salad, dessert and beverage.

A donation of $6.50 per adult, $3 for children 12 and under, and free for pre-school children will be taken.

Carry-out and delivery will be available.

Retirement luncheon set

The monthly retirement luncheon for Kurz-Kasch employees will be Wednesday, March 12 at 11:30 a.m. at April's Country Kitch'n in Newcomerstown.

Blood drive set

The Newcomerstown community blood drive is set for Wednesday, March 19 from 1 to 6 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 121 S. College St., Newcomerstown.

Spaghetti supper set

Calvary United Methodist Church, corner of State Street and Heller Drive, Newcomerstown, will have a spaghetti supper on Saturday, March 22 from 4 to 7 p.m.

The cost is $6 for adults, $3.50 for children 4 to 12, and free for those 3 and under.

The meal includes spaghetti with homemade sauce, meatballs, salad, applesauce, bread and butter, drinks and various kinds of homemade desserts.

Carry-outs are available. Call 498-8766 for delivery.

The church is handicap accessible and the spaghetti supper is open to the public.

Community auction set

A community auction, provided by the Victory Assembly of God, is set for Saturday, March 15 at the Laborer's Union Local 134, 150 N. River St., Newcomerstown.

Doors open at 1 p.m. with the auction to start at 3 p.m.

Spring Health Fair set

WEST LAFAYETTE-- The Rotary Club of West Lafayette is announcing the 2014 Spring Health Fair on Saturday, March 15 from 7 to 9 a.m. at the West Lafayette Baptist Church, 688 E. Main St., West Lafayette.

Results can be sent to your physician, no charge for results. Or, results can be sent to your address with donation of a canned food item.

calamity day set

The Newcomerstown Exempted Village School District will have a make-up calamity day no. 6 on Thursday, March 27.

Any more days needing to be made up will be added on at the end of the school year.

Sonshine Boxes drop-off

Bob Pell's Nationwide Insurance office, located at 117 N. Bridge St., Newcomerstown, is a new collection site for items to be sent to soldiers serving our country. Items may still be donated at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, also in Newcomerstown. Sonshine Boxes consist of anything a soldier might need such as personal hygiene items, games, movies, etc.
