LMI Custom Mixing, a mixer of custom polymer compounds, recently expanded their quality and maintenance staff to support their growing operations.
Bryan McElroy was promoted to quality assurance (QA) technician after working two years in shipping/receiving and production at LMI. In this role, McElroy is responsible for collecting samples and testing compounds using various methods as well as testing incoming raw materials.
"I want to learn as much as I can about the data I'm collecting in order to troubleshoot compound issues," he said.
Todd Greathouse of Newcomerstown joins LMI as maintenance technician. He previously worked as a boiler operator at Three Rivers Energy for two years. He attended the West Side Institute of Technology in Cleveland, Ohio after graduating from Newcomerstown High School. In his new role at LMI, Greathouse is responsible for the repair and upkeep of plant machinery and facilities.
