The following is a list of area Trick or Treat times:
Village of Newcomerstown: Saturday, Oct. 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. (If participating, turn on porch light.)
Newcomerstown Chamber of Commerce (merchant): Friday, Oct. 26 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Newcomerstown's haunted museum: The Newcomerstown Historical Society will open "Haunted" Olde Main Street Museum for trick or treating on Friday, Oct. 26 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Many stores will "erie" merchants handing out candy for all kids in costumes (ages 13 and under). Parents and adults are welcome to view the haunting.
Port Washington: Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
West Lafayette: Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
West Lafayette Halloween Party at Burt Park on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. Line-up begins at 2:10 p.m. with the parade to start at 2:20 p.m. There will be games, pumpkins and candy. A chili supper will follow from 4 to 6 p.m.
Coshocton: Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Gnadenhutten: Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
New Philadelphia: Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Dover: Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Stone Creek: Halloween parade on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Grace Community Church parking lot at 5:30 p.m. The parade starts at 6 p.m. The parade goes through the village and ends at the Tunnel Hill Community Center. There is a costume party for kids and adults at the center with refreshments and treat bags for the kids. There is also judging for the floats in the parade and any costumed animals. (There is no actual Trick or Treat in village.)
