The Newcomerstown Historical Society would like to extend its thanks and gratitude to all who made the second annual Christmas Wonderland on Olde Main Street a success again this year.

To all the businesses, organizations and individuals who sponsored a tree, wreath or centerpiece, we wouldn't have had a show without you. Your willingness to do this not only helped make a great show but also let people know who you are and that you appreciate this event.

Thank you to BJ and Ray McFadden, Bud and Sue Scott, Joyce Walters, Nola Mallett, Jim and Judy Simmerman, Kristy Tipton and Susan Jane Barry, who donated their time and talent, in decorating, to help get the museum ready for this event and for helping made the many cash and carry items we had for sale. You will never know how much we appreciated your help.

For all the public who attended the show and for all who made purchases, we thank you and appreciate you very much as your support will help keep the doors of our two great museums open and help with maintaining them.

Thank you to Roger Seitz, Michelle Fultz and the IGA for providing the refreshments, we all enjoyed on opening night. And to all the gals who kept us supplied with cookies throughout the rest of the show and to our "cookie" lady, Sue Bowman, for getting this all arranged.

Also, thank you, thank you, thank you to Mike and Michelle Hoskins, Bud and Sue Scott, Dave Fockler, Denny Belle, Susan Jane Barry, Ellen Pickrell, Gloria Johnson, Gloria Ellis, Peggy Shook, Kitten Crater, Sue Bowman, Kristy Tipton and Joyce Walters, and anyone else we might have missed who was here during our open hours and helped greet people, to answer any questions anyone had or just invite them to have a cookie and drink. Your help was much appreciated.

We thank all who voted, during the show, for their favorite trees and the winner of the favorite large tree was Victorian Holiday, sponsored by Darr Farms, decorated by Nola Mallett. The favorite small tree was, Jingle Bell Rock, sponsored by Jim and Nola Mallett, decorated by Nora Mallett. Again, we thank all the sponsors and hope you will join in the fun again next year.

Finally, we would like to thank George Darr for the use of his large truck so we could deliver several of the larger trees.

If we have missed mentioning anyone we are truly sorry and apologize, but please know we appreciate what you did to help.

We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
