Local man to appear at Bass Pro Spring Classic

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- SpiderWire pro Fletcher Shyrock of Newcomerstown is scheduled to appear at the Bass Pro Spring Classic in Rossford on March 1. Shryock will be available to sign autographs and chat with fishing enthusiasts of all ages beginning at 2 p.m.

The Ohio angler just finished up his first year as a B.A.S.S. pro and is looking forward to another successful year in 2013.

"I'm ready to build on my rookie year and represent SpiderWire this season," said Shryock. "I'm eager to get on the water, so I think this meet and great will be a great way to get everybody ready for the season."

The 28-year-old angler had a successful run at the 2012 Bassmaster Classic on Red River and has accumulated $100,000 throughout his short pro career. Shryock will participate in the upcoming B.A.S.S. Elite Series starting on the Sabine River System in Orange, Texas. The event kicks off March 14 and will run through March 17.
