It will be a 100 years ago this month that the flood of 1913 took many lives and caused millions of dollars of damage throughout central and southern Ohio. This photo, taken in Newcomerstown on Bridge Street, looking south on the C&M railroad towards State Street, shows some of the aftermath. The area on the right, beyond where the group of people are seen standing is now the current site of the Newcomerstown Senior Center. An in-depth look at the flood, along with more local pictures, will be featured in the March 27 issue of The Newcomerstown News.
