The Newcomerstown Rotary is having its third annual swap meet and car show on Saturday, July 23 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the West Elementary School, 517 Beaver St., Newcomerstown.
The charge for the swap meet vendors will be $10.
Registration for the car show will be from 4 to 6 p.m. with a charge of $10 per vehicle. This show is open to any type of vehicle.
The first 50 participants will receive a dash plaque. There will be the top 30 participant-judged awards, plus the Rotary President Award presented to the vehicle of Jeff Neidig's choice.
The Pit Stop Creamery will supply the food and the Spikeman will play the tunes. Door prizes will be given out.
This show is a benefit for the End Polio Now campaign, which is what the International Rotary Foundation and the Bill Gates Foundation have been working together on. They have helped battle polio in the United States as well as remote areas around the world. They also help areas with building clean drinking water facilities.
