NEW PHILADELPHIA -- The New Philadelphia Sidewalk Sales is in its 57th consecutive year. This year, the sales will be July 28-30. The times are Thursday, July 28 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, July 29 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, July 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The theme this year is "How sweet it is." It features the best bargains of the year and it's all outside.

There will be over 30 retail vendors filling the streets.

Over six different food stands will be available including: First United Methodist Church, Gavins Restaurant, New Philadelphia soccer team, Big JIM's ice cream, Sacred Heart Band Boosters, and Tuscarawas County Child Advocacy Center.

Entertainment this year will include: Nu-Hall Dancers on July 28 (Gazebo square), Daniels and Rinehart on July 29 (Gavins square), corn roast on July 29 (Gavins square), Critter cook-off on July 30, and Kids Day on July 30 and a no-hands ice cream eating contest.

Groups that have been invited to attend include: Sweetwater Farms, Schoebrunn Gardens, New Philadelphia'a Public Library Bookmobile, and Bloodmobile.
