JULY 1-4 --GNADENHUTTEN FIREWORKS FESTIVAL, Heck's Grove Park, Gnadenhutten. Events: Thurs., Queen Contest at Indian Valley High School; Fri. midway rides open 3-10 pm; Sat. Tomahawk Trot 5K (registration 7:30 am), car show 9 am-1 pm, parade 2 pm, midway 3-11 pm, games, contests, entertainment, fireworks 10 pm (raindate July 4th); Sun. community church service at Town Hall 10:30 am.

JULY 3 -- NEWCOMERSTOWN FIRE DEPARTMENT chicken barbecue and car show at the David Barber Civic Center, 1066 E. State St., Newcomerstown. Annual event featuring great food and a huge display of vehicles. All proceeds used to purchase emergency equipment.
