Hank Williams Sr. tribute artist appearing in Coshocton

Published:

COSHOCTON -- Are you a fan of country music? Do you love the music of Hank Williams Sr.? On July 10, you can enjoy both at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds.

David Church, American's No. 1 Hank Williams Sr. tribute artist, will be presenting an evening of acoustic music. Appearing with Church will be his wife, Terri Lisa. Both are accomplished singers/songwriters and have several CDs out. David is known for his uncanny ability to sound like Williams and travels worldwide to present his tribute show. He is also a Nashville recording artist.

David was born in Lancaster and still resides there. He appears regularly on RFD-TV's "Midwest Country" on Saturday night and is their most requested artist. David is the youngest of 14 children. Several siblings, as well as his father, are also musically inclined. David is the 2009 FAME (Families Advocating Moral Entertainment) Award's Male Vocalist of the Year.

Terri Lisa was born in Anderson, Ind. At the age of nine months, she was burnt over 70 percent of her body and is considered a medical miracle. She's been singing since the age of 3 and, at 14, had her own band. She'll present the songs of Patsy Cline and Lynn Anderson, along with some original songs.

Bring your lawn chair for an evening of great music. The show is July 10 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

Also that day, a hog roast is planned, as well as the Coshocton County Antique Power Association's third annual Summer Show from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission to the tractor show is free.
