CAMBRIDGE -- Limited Deerassic Classic Tickets are still available. Dunning Motor Sales in Cambridge is the exclusive Guernsey County ticket outlet. This will be the eighth Deerassic Classic Giveaway & Outdoor Expo, which acts as the main fundraiser for the non-profit, National Whitetail Deer Education Foundation.
There will be free admission again to the public for the Thursday night Campground Party on Aug. 5, beginning at 3 p.m. Entertainment throughout the evening will include, Tom Jackson and Tyler Farrr. Performing as our headliner at approximately 9:30 p.m., Frankie Ballard will take the stage and help them kick-off the weekend festivities with his edgy country rock sound.
In conjunction with the Thursday activities, the fourth annual Texas Hold 'em Championship will begin at 7 p.m. For those not pre-registered, a buy-in at the door is $250, which translates to $4,000 in chips. With no re-buys or add-ons this is one of the premier high stakes poker tournaments in the area. Cash tables and Sit & Go's will also be running with a $5 per hour seat charge.
