Musical entertainment to rock RHS Auditorium April 17
WEST LAFAYETTE -- An "Evening of Musical Entertainment" featuring music from The Sticks and Stones 2 and Salt Creek Inc. is planned for Friday, April 17 in the Ridgewood High School Auditorium. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 6:30 p.m. Their will be a food stand available so come early and enjoy dinner before the show.
The Sticks and Stones 2 are the acoustic and vocal duo of Bill Price and Skip Anderson. These two started their music careers back in the late 60s. Surviving the psychedelic years and different types of rock and roll, they always found themselves going back to the basics ... two acoustic guitars and two vocals. No gimmicks, no frills, just plain music. They play the classic hits from the 60s and 70s such as James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkle, John Denver, Kenny Rogers, just to name a few. It was a great era for music and they intend on keeping it alive.
Salt Creek Inc. is a new sound of bluegrass from the rolling hills of Ohio. Band members Bill Miller, David Swartzentruber, Mark Hardesty, Will Gingerich and sound man Bruce Byler have been playing for many years. They are entertaining audiences throughout Ohio and surrounding states with their unique style of bluegrass; a touch of country, toe-tapping ho-downs and heart warming gospel. They will keep you highly entertained with their variety of music.
