'Make a Difference Day'
East School students collected $265 worth of coins and bills during "Make a Difference Day." The money was donated to the Akron Children's Hospital Foundation. Thank you to everyone for helping with this project!
Grandparent's Breakfast
Nov. 12-15 is Grandparent's Breakfast at East School.
Grandparents are invited to come eat breakfast with their student and Mr. Lenzo will be taking pictures that morning. If a student does not have a grandparent who is able to come, they may bring another "special adult." The cost of an adult breakfast is $1.50.
The schedule is:
Monday, Nov. 12: Mr. Mayse's class and Mrs. Brookover's class.
Tuesday, Nov. 13: Miss Ellis's class and Mrs. Prysi's class
Wednesday, Nov. 14: Mrs. Simmerman's class and Mrs. Johnson's class
Thursday, Nov. 15: Miss Stewart's class and Miss Quillen's class
Thanksgiving break
School will not be in session Nov. 22-26 because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Christmas programs
East School Christmas programs will be held at the Middle School Auditorium on Thursday, Dec. 6. The kindergarten program will begin at 6 p.m. The first grade program will begin at 7:30 p.m.
