Salvation Army ringing bells in Newcomerstown area

Published:

'Tis the season to give and Salvation Army is looking for your donations.

Every year, they ring the bells to raise funds to be used in the Newcomerstown area to help with utility shut-offs, prescriptions and medical travel gas vouchers for your neighbors.

They have bell ringers on Friday and Saturday at Baker's IGA and at Dollar General with small kettles spread throughout the community.

If you would, donate generously, and if you had help this year and can now give back, it will be passed forward to someone else in need.

All the money raised is used in the community and the funds are distributed by Journey's End Ministries as another service to the community.
