Quilting on the Newcomerstown Bicentennial quilt is every Friday from 9 to 11 a.m.
The location has been changed from the Temperance Tavern Museum to the Newcomerstown Library Annex upstairs.
All quilters welcome.
Feinstein Challenge to start
Journey's End Ministries in Newcomerstown is once again having its annual Feinstein Challenge fundraiser, March 1 through April 30. A portion of all monies raised during this time will be matched by the Feinstein organization.
Non-perishable goods are always accepted at Journey's End.

Roast beef dinner set
PORT WASHINGTON -- A roast beef dinner is set for Saturday, March 9 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, corner of High and Arch streets, Port Washington, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The meal includes tender slow-roasted beef, baked potato, vegetable, tossed salad, dessert and roll, and beverage.
The meal costs $7 for adults and children (12 and under) will be charged $5 each.
Proceeds from the dinner will go to the Bell Tower Replacement and Steeple Addition project.
Oil and gas seminar
An oil and gas activity seminar is set for Thursday, Feb. 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the David Barber Civic Center, Newcomerstown. The seminar is titled, "Planning For Your Business and Landowner Opportunities." The seminar is free and open to the public.
Those interested in being a lifeguard at the Cy Young Pool in Newcomerstown are reminded to check with local agencies regarding certification requirements. Certification and re-certification can be obtained by calling the Tuscarawas County YMCA at 330-364-5511 or the Coshocton County Red Cross at 740-622-6763.
Spring craft show set
NERS Inc. will have its annual spring craft show on Saturday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the David Barber Civic Center, 1066 E. State St., Newcomerstown.
Many area crafters with many different items will be available.
A lunch stand will be provided by NERS Inc.

Wild game supper set
NEW PHILADELPHIA -- Jerusalem Church Men's Brotherhood will have a wild game supper on Saturday, March 2 at 6 p.m. The church is located at 1417 Stonecreek Road SW, New Philadelphia.
Hunters are asked to bring a prepared game dish (from game harvested this year). The cost is $10.
Non-hunters are asked to bring a vegetable covered dish. The cost is $10.
Dessert and beverage will be provided.
W.H. "Chip" Gross, a writer/photographer, will be the guest speaker.
There will be door prizes.

Soup and baked potato luncheon
GNADENHUTTEN -- The Gnadenhutten Lions Club will have a soup and baked potato luncheon on Sunday, March 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Masonic Temple.
The meal costs $5 and desserts are $1 each.
There will also be a silent auction and a 50-50 raffle.
Donations are being sought for the annual Cy Young Youth League auction set for Saturday, March 16 at 11 a.m. in the Laborers Local Hall, corner of Main and River streets, Newcomerstown.
They are asking for donations of merchandise or gift certificates.
The youth league serves approximately 300 boys and girls in ages 5 to 16.

Adult grief support group
COSHOCTON -- A weekly adult grief support group meets every Monday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Health Services and Hospice of Coshocton, 230 S. 4th St., Coshocton.

Exhibitors sought for show
COSHOCTON -- Exhibitors are now being accepted for the 2013 Coshocton Home & Lifestyle Show to take place March 9 and March 10. The show benefits Habitat for Humanity of Coshocton County and is in its fourth year.
The successful show annually draws approximately 45 exhibitors and 1,000 visitors. Focusing on all things relating to the home, its contents, and its care, the show will take place at the Coshocton County Career Center. Parking is free and there is no admission charge for attending.

Sonshine Boxes drop-off
Bob Pell's Nationwide Insurance office, located at 117 N. Bridge St., Newcomerstown, is a new collection site for items to be sent to soldiers serving our country. Items may still be donated at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, also in Newcomerstown. Sonshine Boxes consist of anything a soldier might need such as personal hygiene items, games, movies, etc.
