Tri-County CAO Family Support volunteers and our local libraries are once again partnering with The Ohio Benefit Bank to help moderate and low-income individuals with their federal and state income tax returns. Ohioans with annual household income of $65,000 annually or less (or $95,000 or less if you are filing jointly with your spouse) can file their federal and state taxes for FREE using the Ohio Benefit Bank (OBB), an online service that connects Ohioans to benefit programs, such as health care coverage, home energy assistance, child care subsidies and food assistance.

Clients using the Ohio Benefit Bank can maximize their return without having to pay a high fee to have their taxes completed.

Anyone interested in having an OBB Tax Counselor enter their tax information may call the Newcomerstown Public Library at 740-498-8228 to schedule an individual appointment time.

Tax preparation assistance is also available at the Bolivar Library, Dover Library, Puskarich Library in Cadiz, and the Tuscarawas Public Library in New Philadelphia.
