Bates donates four lots to Port Washington

The Regular Meeting of Port Washington Village was held Feb. 7.

The Police Department January Report was reviewed; 11 traffic stops and 11 other complaints.

Council President Joe Bourne and Fiscal Officer Darissa Lute are working on obtaining a grant to cover expenses of purchasing a new Bobcat and accessories for the Street Department.

Mayor Gardner and Council Members expressed gratitude for the gift of property on W. Arch Street. Terry and Jan Bates made a generous donation to the Village of Port Washington of four lots; in which the village intends to develop a T-Ball Field and community park area. The Bates family has continually shown their support to the community over the years and the administration appreciates the positive impact that they have made on the community.
