Newcomerstown Lions Club members spent a large part of their summer last year at Cy Young Memorial Park and Pool. They had an idea and a mission -- to create a Memory Garden and plant beautiful flowers to beautify the park.
A large variety of flowers were planted to bloom at various times throughout the year. The daffodils are now making their debut and can be enjoyed by anyone, for the Memory Garden can be viewed from the convenience of your car in the parking lot. The best spot to view is between the Cy Young Memorial and the bike rack.
Lions Club members say they were blessed with the outpouring of flowers and other donations and wish to thank everyone who contributed and made the project a success.
