NEWCOMERSTOWN - Officers of the Newcomerstown Police Department have arrested a Coshocton man on drug charges after executing a search warrant in the village.
At approximately 8:40 a.m. on Friday, May 19, officers seized drug paraphernalia, scales, drugs believed to be heroin and a large amount of cash from a room at the Village Motel, 354 E. Canal St.
Arrested was Matthew Darling, 42, of 80 Zero St. (Lot 7), Coshocton. He has been charged with trafficking in heroin, a felony of the fifth degree, and possession of heroin, a felony of the fifth degree. Other charges are pending.
Darling is being held at the Tuscarawas County Jail pending a hearing in Southern District Court, Uhrichsville.
