2017 Cy Young Days Festival Schedule of Events in Newcomerstown.

Friday, June 23

5 p.m. -- Opening ceremony with Vane Scott and the Newcomerstown Color Guard at the main stage on Canal Street

5 p.m. -- Rides and vendors.

5:15 p.m. -- Crowing of the 2017 Cy Young Queen and Court with the Cy Young Basket Auction immediately following the crowing.

6 p.m. -- Variety Show.

8 p.m. -- Fast Lane Band sponsored by the Newcomerstown Moose.

Saturday, June 24

7:15 a.m. -- Cy Young Run - Registration starts at 7:15 a.m. with the 1 and 2 mile races beginning at 8 a.m. followed by the 4 mile at 8:30 a.m.

9 a.m. -- Former Houston Astros pitcher Jeff Tabaka will conduct a baseball clinic at the Cy Young Park Pony League field. First session open to boys and girls age 5 to 12. The second session is for boys and girls age 13 to 18. The cost is $20 per person.

12 p.m. -- Luncheon with Jack McDowell at the Laborers Local 134 Hall at the corner of Main and River streets. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.

2 p.m. -- Queen's Reception at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Canal and College streets.

5 p.m. -- Parade line-up begins on Oak and Beaver streets.

6 p.m. -- Parade with Grand Marshal Jack McDowell begins.

7 p.m. -- Jack McDowell will sign autographs at the Olde Main Street Museum on Canal Street.

8 p.m. -- New Towne Cloggers will perform in the Canal Street area with the Southern Rock Superstars on the Canal Street stage.

Sunday, June 25

11 a.m. -- Long Toss competition at Cy Young Park.

12 p.m. -- Rides and vendors open.

1 p.m. -- Old Fashion Baseball game at Cy Young Park.

1 p.m. -- Car Show registration begins. Cost is $10 per entry.

1 p.m. -- Talent Show on main stage on Canal Street.

3 p.m. -- Car Show registration ends and ballots for participating judges will be distributed.

3 p.m. -- Pet Show on Canal Street stage.

5 p.m. -- Car Show awards will be presented by the 2017 Queen's Court.
