TUSCARAWAS -- Weather permitting, six Tuscarawas County bridges will undergo routine annual inspections during daytime hours this week by an ODOT crew and a snooper truck.
On Monday, June 19, officials were to inspect the Interstate 77 bridge over County Road 4 just north of the Guernsey County line.
On Tuesday, June 20, the SR 259 bridge over the Tuscarawas River near SR 416 and the SR 416 (South Broadway St.) bridge over the Tuscarawas River near U.S. 250 in New Philadelphia were to be inspected.
On Wednesday, June 21, the U.S. 250 bridge on the eastbound ramp over I-77 at the New Philadelphia Interchange will be inspected along with the SR 800 (S. Wooster Ave.) bridge over the Tuscarawas River at Dover.
And on Thursday, June 22, the I-77 bridge over Township Road 424 (Mt. Pleasant Rd.) just south of the Exit 85 at Strasburg will be inspected.
Traffic will be restricted but maintained at all of these locations during this work.
