Kimbolton Music

An afternoon of country music will be presented at The Kimbolton Community Center on Sunday, July 2. Rod Bradford and Friends will take the stage at 12, followed by the Ray McFadden band from 1 to 2. George Coler and friends will entertain from 2 until 3. There will be cake walks and a 50-50 drawing. Menu will include baked steak and chicken dinners as well as sandwiches, salads and desserts. Carry out is available. This event, sponsored by The Kimbolton Homecoming Committee, is open to the public with no admission charge.

Kurz-Kasch Retirees

The Kurz-Kasch Retirees will meet Wednesday, July 12, at 11:30 a.m. at April's Kountry Kitchen.

Beer-food event

COSHOCTON -- The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum in Coshocton will host a beer-food pairing dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. July 8 in the Montgomery Gallery where the Breweriana exhibit is on display. The dinner is comprised of five courses prepared by Chef Mike Cichon. Brew master Kevin Ely will select five beers for the pairings plus an additional beer just for fun. For each pairing, Chef Mike and Brew master Kevin will help identify the tastes experienced in the food and beer. Tickets are $38 apiece or $35 for Friends of the Museum. Paid reservations must be received by July 2 and may be made by phone or in person. The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum at 300 N. Salt Fork Festival

Artists and craftsmen will be the featured attractions at the 48th Salt Fork Arts & Crafts Festival. A variety of artistic creations will be on hand from oil and watercolor paintings to jewelry and woodcarvings. Visitors are sure to find an artistic touch to enjoy as they stroll through the Cambridge City Park on Aug. 11, 12 and 13. When wanting to take a break, head to the Performing Arts Tent or the Big Park Pavilion for a wide variety of musical entertainment. On Saturday, two new events will take place -- a classic car show and tethered balloon rides.
