KIMBOLTON -- Dustin Parris, a 16-year-old Newcomerstown High School student, has been invited to travel and study with a group called People to People Student Ambassador Program in Australia.

Parris, who will be leaving in the summer of 2010, will be staying with an Australian family while he will study their culture. He will see the Great Barrier Reef and the wildlife that lives on it. He will work with a marine biologist and help with research on the Bottle Nosed dolphin. He will also be learning boomerang, spear throwing and learn about the different wildlife throughout Australia. Plus, much more.

The Parris family is trying to raise money for him to go. This is a very expensive trip and he may never have this opportunity again. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

To donate, send to Michelle Rogers, 76544 Zion Rd., Kimbolton, OH 43749; or call (330) 447-6342 and donations can be picked up.

"Thank you for helping support my son on this opportunity," Rogers, Parris' mother, said.
