Big Brothers Big Sisters conducts fundraisers throughout the year to raise approximately 2/3 of the annual budget, with the Magical Night Run being a brand new event. Race Committee Chair Valerie Hershberger said, "As a runner and former BBBS Board member, I wanted to organize a event that would be memorable and attract both experienced runners and more casual participants. The Magical Night run will also be fun for people in the community who simply want to support local youth mentoring programming in a new way that also celebrates fitness and health. I hope we get a truly multi-generational response, and that people take the time to come out and cheer on the runners!"For information on Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Ohio, visit www.bbbseco.com.
