Thanksgiving Market Day offers variety of goods

The Newcomerstown Public Library will have a Thanksgiving Market on Tuesday, Nov. 24 from noon until 8 p.m.

Vendors will be located in the Library Annex and the entry of the Main Library.

The Thanksgiving Market is modeled after the library's successful Farmers Market featuring locally-grown and produced products.

Handmade Christmas ornaments and decorations, bottle lamps, afghans, finger puppets, baskets, wreaths, quilts and jewelry will help shoppers get a head start on their Christmas shopping while home baked pies and rolls will lend a hand to cooks preparing their Thanksgiving feast.

Vendors are asked to make a $10 donation to help cover library expenses. Space is limited to 20 vendors inside the buildings. Weather permitting; vendors may also bring their own tables to set up on the sidewalk outside the Annex. Vendors may begin setting up at 11 a.m. on Nov. 24.

For information, visit the library's Web site at www.newcomerstownlibrary.org or call the Newcomerstown Library at 498-7706 or 498-8228.
