Hospital: Employees take salary cut, positions reduced

COSHOCTON -- Due to decreased reimbursement, newly-implemented mandated State of Ohio franchise fees and increased operating costs, the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital is announcing the following reductions:

* Management and salaried personnel have taken a 5 percent salary cut.

* A reduction in staffing will take place, equaling 44.3 full-time employees which includes 21 employees that are being laid-off across all department.

These adjustments are being made in order to maintain the fiscal stability and insure the presence of a local healthcare system for the long term.

Coshocton County Memorial Hospital will continue to provide the community with excellent health care.
