Lots of items in Nc'town Rotary's auction May 1

The Newcomerstown Rotary Club will soon be staging its annual auction May 1 at the Union Hall, corner of Main and River streets, starting at 10 a.m. All money raised will benefit the Newcomerstown Library fund and estimated value of each item is tax deductible.

Many items have already been promised including: Win one Webkinz each month for 12 months from Medi-Wise Pharmacy, still life lithograph from Carol Sulser, five-week ABC dog training school worth $45, eight-week old dog or puppy training school worth $65, limited edition framed wildlife print by Christopher Walden of Middletown donated by Bill Bower, maple love seat, girl's bicycle and more is expected to be at the auction. Other items include Craftsman 8.5 power chipper/shredder, Husqvarna garden tiller, small window air conditioner, carved wood frame upholstered chair with front wheels, wooden three-drawer sewing stand with side binds, two recliner chairs, computer desk, set of China, Longaberger baskets, set of old collector Pepsi glasses and much more.

A storage area has been donated and members will be available with a truck to pick-up any large items. On April 30, you can drop off items at the Union Hall starting at noon.

A lunch stand will be provided by the Friends of the Library. The auctioneer will be Steve Cronebaugh.
