PORT WASHINGTON -- The Port Washington Memorial Day services will commence at noon on Monday, May 31 at Union Cemetery.

The guest speaker will be Ret. Sgt. Maj. James Thornton. There will be a military fly-over at 12:15 p.m.

The Newcomerstown Honor Guard will give a 21-gun salute to honor all of the fallen military personnel who served the country.

Following the cemetery service, there will be a an old fashion parade to the village square led by the Newcomerstown Honor Guard and the Port Washington area veterans, followed by antique tractors and other entries in the parade.

The Delaware Valley Fire District will have its chicken barbecue.
