Crews will begin work Monday, July 19 for the Route 751 bridge replacement project over Interstate 77 in Stone Creek. The contractor is Dennison Bridge Inc. from Dennison. The roadway is expected to be closed for 120 days to rebuild the bridge over I-77. Also included in this project will be the replacement of the bridge over an abandoned railroad bed into Stone Creek with a large, three-sided culvert to accommodate a bike path. Traffic will be detoured south on I-77 to Route 36 west back to Route 751, and reverse. The cost of this project is $2.7 million and the completion date is June 15, 2011.
