WEST LAFAYETTE -- The Ridgewood School District will host a Senior Citizens' Luncheon Wednesday, Dec. 15 at the High School auditorium. Entertainment will begin at 11 a.m. and lunch at 12:30 p.m.
The cost of the luncheon is generously being sponsored by the following businesses: Jones Metal, Jones Zylon, Coshocton Board of Realtors, Chase Bank, Home Loan and Savings Bank, Schwendeman Insurance and The Unusual Junction.
Business discussed at the Nov. 12 regular school board meeting included:
* Resignations were accepted for Tabitha Cowdery, bus driver (effective Nov. 12), and Brooke Honabarger, part-time classroom aide (effective Nov. 3).
* Melissa Asbury and Sharon Specht were approved for classified, substitute aide positions.
* Jerry Hampton, bus driver, will be transferred to the route previously driven by Tabitha Cowdery (effective Nov. 15).
* Early graduation was approved for student Tyler Taylor, RHS junior (pending completion of all local school and state requirements).
The next school board meeting will be Dec. 20 at 7 a.m. at the Ridgewood Administrative Building.
