COLUMBUS -- One local resident was awarded two degrees from The Ohio State University during the 2010 autumn quarter commencement exercises Dec. 12 in the Jerome Schottenstein Center.

Quinn Tierney Stocker of Gnadenhutten received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees.

OSU issues honor roll

COSHOCTON -- The Ohio State University has issued its honor roll for the 2010 autumn quarter, listing the names of graduating and undergraduate students who achieved high academic averages for their quarter's work. Those honored received a grade point average of at least 3.5 (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, etc.) and were enrolled for at least 12 credit hours.

Local students include: Kayla C. Hinds, Cory Ray Martin, Newcomerstown; Maria Lynn Grimm, Stone Creek; and Jayma Marie Leavengood, Jordan Michael Lusk, Kimberly Marie Michael, Ryan C. Miller, West Lafayette.
