The semi-annual fire hydrant flushing for the Village of Newcomerstown will start Sunday, April 24 at 10 p.m., according to Interim Utilities Superintendent Kenneth Schweitzer.

First, hydrant flushing will start north of the railroad tracks and west of Bridge Street.

When completed, they will begin north of the railroad tracks and east of Bridge Street.

If water is discolored, let it run for a short period of time. It is safe to drink.
