The museum is relocating to its new home in Louisiana. It took Parsons nearly two weeks to have everything in the museum packed up and ready to be hauled to Louisiana where USS Radford memorabilia, along with a fleet of other destroyer ships, will be on display in a special museum. Originally, the USS Radford National Naval Museum opened in Newcomerstown in 2001 and its last day in the village was June 14.
