NEW PHILADELPHIA The Tuscarawas County Convention & Visitors Bureau has released the 2012 Tuscarawas County Travel Guide. This premier advertising piece for tourism-related businesses in the area will be distributed to travelers and tour groups coming to the area in the coming year as well as being distributed through the state of Ohios tourism information line, 1-800-BUCKEYE, the states tourism website, www.discoverohio.com, tourist information centers, and various travel shows.

The 45-page guide includes information about museums, recreation, restaurants, shopping, travel and tour services, golf courses, and lodging. A separate quarterly calendar of events will also be included in distribution.

The cover features the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum and its National Historic Landmark status awarded in 2011.

The 2012 Travel Guide is available at several locations within the county including the Tuscarawas County Welcome Center, located at 124 E. High Ave. in downtown New Philadelphia, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
