Journeys End Ministries has had another remarkable year; they ended 2011 by serving our community in a mighty way.

In the food pantry, they served 15,552 families which equates to 51,709 people of that number 35 percent were children and 10 percent were senior citizens.

A total of $50,770 was spent for purchasing and delivering 909,011 pounds of food at a cost of $.06 per pounds and $.98 per person.

In the clothes closet, they served 14,902 families and handed out over 200,000 pieces of clothing and miscellaneous items. The various meals include JEM meals of 1,196 people, Lent of 531, Thanksgiving of 505 and Christ Kitchen tie in of 7,025.
