WEST LAFAYETTE -- A blood screening is set for Saturday, March 10 from 7 to 9 a.m. at the West Lafayette First Baptist Church, 688 E. Main St., West Lafayette. No appointment is necessary but participants must be at least 18 years of age. A 12-hour fast is required.
Tests offered include: Regular profile, $30; TSH (screening for Thyroid disease), $18; PSA test (cancer screen for men), $20; A1C (for diabetes), $20; and colorectal screening kit, $4.
Blood pressure checks and cataract and glaucoma checks are free.
Results can be sent to physician at no charge. Results can also be sent to the client with donation of canned food items.
There will be coffee, juice and donuts served after the blood draw.
The blood screening is sponsored by the Rotary Club of West Lafayette, and is assisted by Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, Dr. Scott Keating and Coshocton County Emergency Medical Squad.
