A benefit for Terry Snell of Newcomerstown is being planned for Friday, March 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the David Barber Civic Center, Newcomerstown.
The benefit will include a spaghetti dinner and silent auction.
Some of the silent auction items include: Two 18-hole rounds of golf at Hickory Flats; Trojan tote bag with Trojan blanket, hat and T-shirt; Rival waffle maker; oak Lazy Susan; Paparizzi gift card; American Girl Doll bed with comforter and two outfits; beautiful gift basket from Medi-Wise Pharmacy; Metric Master 43 piece socket set; headlight restoration and in and outside windshield treatment; $50 gas card; service for four China set; Unusual Junction gift basket with Raven's Glenn dinner certificate; tooth whitening gift basket; Gold Canyon candle set; Premier jewelry; baby quilt; Cal Ripken autographed book; Arbonne gift basket; pizza coupons; homemade pies for a month; Sentsy products; and Lea Sophia jewelry. Additional items are also coming in daily.
The cost for the meal is $6 for adults and $4 for children (under 12).
Snell has been diagnosed with malignant sarcoma. After several surgeries, the family has been left with tremendous medical bills. Any donation, no matter the size, will be appreciated.
