'Shadows of Sacrifice' to be performed
Christ United Methodist Church, 648 Oak St., Newcomerstown, will be presenting "Shadows of Sacrifice" on Sunday, April 1 at 7 p.m. in the River of Life Community Center, Newcomerstown.
The drama team at the church recreates the Easter story in this performance.
Mencer to be in concert
Sheldon Wade Mencer will be in concert on Sunday, April 1 at 11 a.m. at The Peoples Church, Post Boy and Peoples Church Road, Newcomerstown.
Mencer is a missionary, evangelist, singer and writer of "Leader Me To The Rock," "Mercy River," "Only God Knows," and many more.
Mencer is the lead singer of the group Mencer, White and Cheney.
Moms in Prayer International to meet
Do you worry about your children? Replace anxiety and ear with peace and hope by praying with other moms.
Moms in Prayer International gathers women together to pray scripturally and specifically for children and schools.
They meet on Thursdays at 10 a.m. at the Christ United Methodist Church, Newcomerstown.

Spaghetti supper set
The Calvary United Methodist Church, corner of State Street and Heller Drive, Newcomerstown, will have its annual spring spaghetti supper on Saturday, April 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. The meal will include spaghetti with homemade sauce and meatballs, salad, applesauce, bread, beverage, and homemade dessert. The cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children 4 and over. Carry-outs are available.
Due to work being done on the corner of the parking lot, the owners of Medi-Wise Pharmacy have allowed the church to use their parking lot for the event.

A Gathering of Songs planned
A Gathering of Songs is planned on Saturday, March 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Cornerstone North Church, 1124 W. State St., Newcomerstown.
It will feature praise by: Jeff Schmidt and The Cornerstone North Praise Team; Regina Burgan; Brenda Schwarts; Donna Sharrock; Danielle Brown; Tony Williams; JR Stuhl; and World Worship Center Children's Choir.
Admission and food are free, and all are welcome.
