Moms in Prayer International to meet
Do you worry about your children? Replace anxiety and fear with peace and hope by praying with other moms.
Moms in Prayer International gathers women together to pray scripturally and specifically for children and schools.
They meet on Thursdays at 10 a.m. at the Christ United Methodist Church, Newcomerstown.

Spaghetti supper set
The Calvary United Methodist Church, corner of State Street and Heller Drive, Newcomerstown, will have its annual spring spaghetti supper on Saturday, April 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. The meal will include spaghetti with homemade sauce and meatballs, salad, applesauce, bread, beverage, and homemade dessert. The cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children 4 and over. Carry-outs are available.
Due to work being done on the corner of the parking lot, the owners of Medi-Wise Pharmacy have allowed the church to use their parking lot for the event.

'Sunday of Joy' set
ISLETA -- The Isleta United Methodist Church will be having a "Sunday of Joy" party on April 15 beginning at 9:15 a.m.
The entire worship service will center on joy. There will be joyful singing, the Christian clown ministry "J.O.Y. Troupe," lots of balloons, and a party atmosphere.
Party food will be served after the joyful service, followed by a humourous family movie.
Reservations are not necessary. Just wear a colorful outfit and come celebrate Christian joy at the party.
Gospel meetings set
The Church of Christ, which meets at the corner of South Goodrich and Elizabeth streets, in Newcomerstown, will have gospel meetings April 15-19. The guest speaker for this series will be Ed Melott of New Martinsville, W.Va. Brother Melott was the guest speaker three years ago when he gave seven lessons under the theme, "Jesus is the Way." He has chosen the theme, "God is ..." for the week's lessons.
Brother Melott is a native of West Virginia. He and his wife Kim have two children, Hunter and Kameron. After making a living in the construction business for much of his life, Ed made a decision that he wanted to preach the gospel as his life's work.
Everyone is invited. Meetings are Sunday at 9:45 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 6 p.m., and Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. nightly. Bring your Bible (or use one provided by the church) and study the scriptures with them.
Spaghetti dinner set
PORT WASHINGTON -- St. Paul's United Church of Christ, corner of High and Arch streets, Port Washington, on Sunday, April 15 from noon to 1 p.m.
The menu includes all-you-can-eat spaghetti, salad, Italian bread and butter, dessert and beverage.
A free will offering will be taken.
Proceeds benefit the St. Paul's UCC Christian education programs.
Easter dinner set
The churches of Journey's End Ministries is inviting the community to its community Easter dinner on April 19 from 6 to 7 p.m. at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church, 440 S. River St., Newcomerstown.
