Moms in Prayer International to meet

Do you worry about your children? Replace anxiety and fear with peace and hope by praying with other moms.

Moms in Prayer International gathers women together to pray scripturally and specifically for children and schools. Luncheon/concert set

There will be a luncheon/concert in the River of Life Community Center at Christ United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 29 beginning at noon. Lunch for a donation includes sandwich, salad, dessert, cold drinks. Dine while listening to the River Ringers Handbell Choir. The event is sponsored by River Ringers and Cuba Mission Team.

Spaghetti supper planned

WEST LAFAYETTE -- A spaghetti supper is set for Friday, May 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 688 E. Main St., West Lafayette. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children (ages 4 to 12).

Benefit dinner planned

WEST LAFAYETTE -- The West Lafayette United Methodist Church's Relay For Life team will have a benefit dinner on Friday, April 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the church. The church is located at the corner of Oak Street and Russell Avenue. The menu includes sandwiches, salads, desserts, and beverages. The cost is by donation. For information, call 545-6368.

All Daughter's Banquet set

Invite your daughter or a friend and join them at Christ United Methodist Church, 648 Oak St., Newcomerstown, for an evening of food and music entertainment at the All Daughter's Banquet in the River of Life Community Center on May 8 at 6 p.m. The meal is catered by Dick's Place. The cost is $5 for 12 and under and $10 for adults. Call 498-8134 for reservations.

Breakfast set

A community breakfast is being planned for May 12 at Christ United Methodist Church, 648 Oak St., Newcomerstown. Full buffet is being offered for a $5 donation.
