The third annual Father-Daughter Dance will be Friday, April 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the David-Barber Civic Center in Newcomerstown.

This year's theme will be a Mexican Fiesta.

The evening will be complete with Father-Daughter dances, cake walks, party songs, obstacle courses, ending the evening with the crowning of the Father-Daughter couple of the evening.

This event is sponsored by Building Bridges for the Cure, all monies proceed Susan G. Komen.

When this event first evolved, the motto was, "Don't let her wedding be the first time you dance" and this still holds true. Tickets are $12, which is for a father and daughter pair, each additional daughter is only $4.

As always, uncles, grandpas, or any positive male role model can attend the dance.
