NEW PHILADELPHIA -- Eric Rose, a senior in the Precision Machining program, is Buckeye Career Center's April Student of the Month.

According to his instructor, Bob LaFollette, "He is a great student, hard worker . a real pleasure to have in class."

He is a member of the National Technical Honor Society and has maintained a 4.00 GPA this school year.

He will be competing in the CNC lathe contest at the State SkillsUSA competition. He is currently employed by Timken Research through the school to career program and was recently accepted as a full-time employee upon graduation.

His home school is Newcomerstown, where he was on the basketball team, and currently is playing on the baseball team.

He is the son of Rick and Cindy Rose of Newcomerstown.
