Thanks to donations, the Newcomerstown Trojans' softball team was able to erect a new scoreboard and construct a new concession stand at the softball field. The final cost of the material and building supplies for the concession stand totaled $2,497.26, which was donated by parents and sponsors of the Twisted Sisters Fast-pitch Softball Team, Mike Hinton, CEO. Other donations came from Ed Rexroad and Tom Mason, who performed building site work; Tommi Watson, painted the building; and building assembly, Paul Watson, Joe Beall, Craig Green, Scott McCune, Mike Montgomery and Mike Hinton. Roy and Christy McMillan provided a $500 donation for getting the electricity to the scoreboard and to the concession stand. The following individuals have donated food and beverage items, supplies, and appliances for the team and the concession stand: Mike and Gina Montgomery, Mike and Susan Hinton, Paul and Tommi Watson, Scott and Teresa McCune, Joe and Myrtle Beall, Mike and Mandy Postel, Roger and Sharon Shaw, Larry and Nancy Hannahs, Allyson Poorman, Craig Green, Chuck Peach, Jeff Moore, Stacey Moore, Joyce Yoho, Sandy Robinson, Tari Mullane, Beth McCune, and Joe and Mindy Stringer.
