The election was held at the Union Hospital Association's annual meeting on April 12. The UH Association meets annually to review the hospital's past year of operations, consider amendments to the organization's by-laws, and elect members to the Board of Trustees.
Reports were presented to Association members by Michael Hovan, board chairman; Bruce James, president and CEO; Dr. Andrew Wherley, Medical Staff president; Phyllis Markworth, Auxiliary president; and Eugene Thorn, vice president of finance. A summary of their reports is available to the public in the Union Hospital Annual Report, available for viewing and download at the hospital's website: www.unionhospital.org, under the "News and Events" tab.
