The Newcomerstown Middle School boys track team won the Inter-Valley Conference championship and the girls' team placed in third.

The following are the results from the May 7 meet at Strasburg.

Boys' first place finishers: Braden Taylor, long jump; Dylan Little, 110 hurdles, 200 hurdles, high jump (he was undefeated all year with 110 hurdles); and Ben Hartline, pole vault (undefeated all year with pole vault).

Boys' second place finishers: Devin Croft, 200 hurdles; and Garret Mozena, 800,mile.

Boys' third place finishers: Heath Wilkin, shot, discuss; Devin Croft, 110 hurdles; Cordell Walker, 100 meter dash; and the 4x4 team of Braden Taylor, Devin Croft, Garret Mozena, and Gage Miller.

Boys' fourth place finishers: Kwinten Garretson, discuss; Braden Taylor, mile; 4x1 team of Cordell Walker, Heath Wilkin, Braden Russell, and Joe kyle; and 4x2 team of Kwinten Garretson, JC Maddox, Cordell Walker, Braden Russell.

Boys' fifth place finishers: Gage Miller, 400.

Boys' sixth place finishers: Braden Russell, high jump.

Girls' first place finishers: Riley Kellish, long jump.

Girls; third place finishers: Carra Popadak, high jump; and Megan Cleveland, pole vault.

Girls' fourth place finishers: 4x1 team of Hennis, Kellish, Hall, and Dean.

Girls' fifth place finishers: Keegan Eggleston, discus; and 4x2 team of Eggleston, Mowery, Cleveland, and Mullane.

Girls' sixth place finishers: Keegan Eggleston, shot putt; Madison Carr, high jump; Monica Mowery, pole vault; Riley Kellish, 100 meter dash; and 4x4 team of Hennis, Mowery, Cleveland, and Johns.
