PORT WASHINGTON -- The Village of Port Washington will be having its Memorial Day festivities on May 28.

Services honoring all who have served, will begin in Union Cemetery at noon. All Port Washington veterans are invited to attend the service and to participate in the parade following the service.

US Navy veteran Vane Scott III will be the guest speaker.

Following the service, the parade will start. The parade features veterans, tractors, kids on bicycles and much more.

The parade will lead from the cemetery to the historic Town Hall where tours will be available.

Also that day, there will be a chicken barbecue at the Delaware Fire Department.
