Newcomerstown Historical Society member Bill VanSickle stands with an early 1800s three corner cupboard that has been indefinitely loaned to the museum by the family of the late Don and Mary Kay Zeigler who were longtime members of the society. VanSickle is holding an antique toy car that is among some of the early toys that are currently on display in the cupboard. A life-sized cutout of Newcomerstown's famed man of baseball Cy Young stands nearby. The museums, both Temperance Tavern and Olde Main Street Museum, will re-open for the year on Memorial Day, May 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
