Lots of activities planned at Fresno Presbyterian Church

FRESNO -- The Fresno Presbyterian Church, 54169 White Eyes Township Road 172 or Main Street, Fresno, will be hosting outdoor worship services beginning July 8 through Aug. 26 at 11 a.m.

To help kick-off the summer worship services, Garry Henshaw, church organist, will present a special patriotic rendition on July 8.

A gospel singing group made up of several people from Fresno, Coshocton, Zanesville, Plainfield, and other towns will present an outdoor concert Thursday, July 12 at 6 p.m. Anyone who enjoys gospel music is cordially invited to attend. Debbie Kaser, a member of the church, is in charge of arrangements.

The Royalaires from Circleville have been invited back to present a concert in southern gospel music at the Homecoming on Sunday, Aug. 19 at 11 a.m. A picnic lunch will follow.

According to the Rev. Peter Mathewson, pastor, a great summer of music and worship is planned. The services will take place inside in case of bad weather.

The public is invited to any and all of the services.

Church to have Vacation Bible School

The Light in the Valley Church, 101 W. Canal St., Newcomerstown, will have Vacation Bible School.

"The Sky's the Limit! Everything is possible with God" will be July 16 through July 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

There will be experiments, games, snacks, adventures and music.
