Gospel HIMS to appear at St. Paul's Lutheran
The Gospel HIMS will appear at worship at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 121 S. College St., Newcomerstown, on Sunday, July 22. They will begin pre-service music at 10:15 a.m. and will also sing during the 10:30 a.m. worship service.
The Gospel HIMS (He Is My Savoir) Ministry originated in 1993 when four gentlemen started singing special music at their own church. As the Lord led they began to sing at other Christian gatherings providing special music. The word quickly spread of their love for music and their obedience to do the Lord's will. The HIMS have been given the opportunity to sing and preach in churches of all denominations, tent services, outdoor Gospel sings, Rest and Retirement homes, county fairs, festivals, and other various locations. Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior through music, they now average over a hundred services each year giving all Praise and Glory to their Lord.
The group is currently comprised of Doug Seevers, Joe Pena, Walt Keller, and Randy Meese. More information and a schedule of upcoming events can be viewed on their website, "Gospel HIMS."
Everyone is welcome to join the St. Paul's congregation to enjoy the music of The Gospel HIMS and strengthen your faith in our Lord and Savior. A freewill offering to cover their ministry expenses will be received from those who wish to contribute.
